Lida Ahmady, L.Ac.

Lida Ahmady is a New York City acupuncturist and the founder of DeQi Health in Manhattan.

Lida received her BA in International Business Administration with a minor in Asian studies, from Baruch College. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NY where she completed a rigorous four-year course of study in both Chinese and Western Medicine. She also takes a wide range of continuing education courses.

Lida is a NY State Licensed Acupuncturist and a Board Certified Chinese Herbalist through (NCCAOM) National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She completed her clinical training at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, treating women suffering from MS and other gynecological disorders. Lida has apprenticed with several renowned TCM doctors including Dr. Ming Chen who has over 30 years of experience in Dermatology and liver disease.

In her daily life, Lida applies the wisdom of Chinese philosophy. This includes diet, nutrition and the practice of Internal Marshal Arts such as Qi Gong and Tai Qi, all of which contribute greatly to her energetic capacity to be an effective practitioner.
